How It Works

Online shopping is supposed to be simple, but there is often nothing easy about getting your parcel. You don't have time to sit at home all day, yet that is exactly when couriers try to drop off your online shopping. The result? Missed deliveries, parcels left out on your doorstep, and the risk of damage or theft.

Kinek is the easy-to-use service that helps ensure a safe and convenient parcel receipt. We have partnered with community-based businesses to form a network of Kinek Points locations near your work, home, or commute that will accept your parcel and notify you when it arrives. For a small service fee, you can pick up your parcel when it arrives.

Access to the Kinek web-based application is free and there are no additional set up costs. Ready to get started? Follow these easy steps:

Step One: Use the search bar at the top of the page to find a Kinek Point near you. Once you have found a location, click on its name to review information about its fees and hours of operation.

Step Two: Sign up! Once you complete your Kinek registration, you will be given an account and Kinek#. (Your Kinek# is important; you will need to include it on shipping forms when you place orders online.) You can save your Kinek # and Kinek Point address in a vCard or text file to access when you need to have a parcel shipped to you.

Step Three: Go shopping at any online retailer. When you are ready to place your order, sign in to Kinek, select a Kinek Point, and follow the easy copy and paste instructions to fill out the shipping form on the retailer's website. (Remember: You are shipping to the Kinek Points address and you must include your Kinek# as shown in the on-screen instructions.)

Step Four: Pick up your parcel when it arrives. As soon as your parcel reaches the Kinek Point you chose, an email will be sent to you letting you know that it is ready to be picked up.
